Abacus & Olive is a personal financial organization and planningplatform designed to help users track accounts, bills, assets, liabilities,spending, and financial projections. The Service is intended solely as aninformational and organizational tool.
3. No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice
Abacus & Olive does not provide financial advice, investment advice,legal advice, tax advice, accounting services, or fiduciary services. Informationdisplayed within the Service is based solely on information provided by usersand calculations performed by the software. You are solely responsible for allfinancial decisions and actions taken based on information generated by theService.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for: Maintaining the confidentiality of your logincredentials. All activity occurring under your account. Providing accurate information.You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscription Plans
Subscription pricing and features are published on our Pricing page.Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle.Users may cancel at any time through their account settings.
6. Free Trial
New users may receive a 90-day free trial. A valid payment method isrequired at registration. If you cancel before the trial expires, you will not becharged.
7. Educational Accounts
Educational accounts are intended solely for instructional purposes. Schools are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for student participation and for ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws.
8. User Data
You retain ownership of all information you upload or enter into the Service.Depending on your selected storage option: Hosted Storage: Data is stored oninfrastructure managed by Abacus & Olive. Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC): Datais stored primarily within your selected cloud storage provider. You areresponsible for maintaining backups of your data.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party providers including cloudstorage providers, payment processors, authentication services providers, andsimilar services. We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, securityincidents, or data loss caused by third-party providers.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: Violate any law or regulation. Attempt unauthorizedaccess to the Service. Interfere with system security. Upload malicioussoftware. Use the Service to commit fraud or unlawful activity.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "ASAVAILABLE."WEDISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDINGMERCHANTABILITY, FITNESSFOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guaranteeuninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or accuracy of projections orcalculations.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ABACUS & OLIVESHALL NOT BELIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, ORPUNITIVE DAMAGES.OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOTEXCEEDTHE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ABACUS & OLIVE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHSPRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Abacus & Olive and itsowners, officers, employees, and affiliates from claims arising from your useof the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service afterchanges become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida withoutregard to conflict of law principles.
